Transparency and Reflection

Metal fabrics with an open area of more than 50 % appear quite transparent in plane view. The smaller the viewing angle the more the mesh looks like a dense metallic surface.

The visual impression varies in relation to the viewing angle and the motion of the beholder.

In spite of the metallic sheen of the mesh, hardly any direct reflection occurs.

Headlights of oncoming cars are scattered diffusely due to the curved wire surface.
